All are welcome for this fun, free event of food, music, art, a livestream of WCH Oregon22 events at Hayward Field, entertainment and culture from Oregon and around the world.
The UO has a global presence with roughly five dozen student athletes competing across 13 sports in the recently concluded academic year.
The exhibit, on the first floor of the EMU, is free and open to the public.
Over the next couple of weeks significant event preparations will take place on the University of Oregon campus. In addition to traffic and parking changes, new exhibits are coming to UO museums and the EMU.
The ASICS Uplift Oregon 5K will take place on Sunday, July 17 at 6:15 a.m. and is part of the marathon course elite athletes will be competing on.
From the javelin throw to the high jump, visit the Museum of Natural and Cultural History to learn which animals would triumph on the track, and explore the amazing adaptations that make it all possible.
With less than 45 days until athletes, media, volunteers, and spectators begin to arrive for the World Athletics Championships Oregon22, you will see more activity on campus in preparation.
A significant amount of salvaged materials were made available to the community and put to use in a myriad of creative ways.
On June 4, Eugene Symphony will present PREFONTAINE, a multimedia presentation sponsored by the UO, featuring Oregon Contemporary Theatre actors and an orchestral work written in Steve Prefontaine’s honor by renowned Oregon composer David Schiff.
